Prior to 2008 most newsagencies operated in isolation; the majority operated without a secondary income source (post office, x-lotto). Almost every newsagency that now sells incorporates a secondary income that often generated more return than the newsagency. As a result, our data indicates they are now generally making greater returns than previously and they are selling for more.
